Jill D. Cantway

Jill was born in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 1979 and grew up in Colorado. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University in 2001 with a major in International Relations and a minor in Computer Science. While at Colgate, Jill was the captain of the Alpine Ski Racing Team and spent a semester studying Spanish and Economics in Alicante, Spain.

Jill attended law school at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, where she received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, along with a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, in May 2005. While at Lewis & Clark, she received the Pro Bono Honors Award and was on the school’s Scholar List for four semesters. Jill was also a member of Environmental Law, the nation’s leading specialty law journal, and was elected to the journal’s editorial board during her third year.

While in law school, Jill also worked as a law clerk in the Family Law section of the Civil Enforcement Division for the Oregon Department of Justice. Jill joined the firm as an associate in November 2005 and is a member of the Bar in Colorado and Wyoming.
